Josh replaced 2 cracked tiles in my kitchen. They called back, showed up when they said they would, and did the work for the price they quoted. Seems simple enough but that's hard to find when hiring a contractor. Josh was also very professional and friendly. He saw we had a bird and realized some of his adhesive might irritate her and gave me a chance to move her to another room for a while until the adhesive dried. The floor looks great and I'd highly recommend the company.

I hired Yorktown Handyman Services to take up an old carpet in a small bedroom. The hardwood floors underneath were in surprisingly good shape. However, two old holes were present where the radiator used to be. I thought we could just plug the holes but Josh Griffin, the owner of the company said that was not good enough. He is such a perfectionist. He replaced the wood plank to perfectly match the floor, added quarter round molding and it looks amazing!. You will never go wrong hiring this company to help you. They are friendly, responsible and they really care about the work they do. Love these folks!!!

Josh Griffin has done the rehab work on 5 of the properties that my wife and I have for rentals as well as our primary home. A couple of the rentals were in pretty rough shape. Josh is unbelievably outstanding at what he does. He is super creative with his project ideas. He is very sensitive to material costs and his labor rates are very fair. He doesn't run to home depot every 10 minutes because he stocks everything on his truck. He knows exactly what he needs and gets it all at once before he shows up at the job. In addition, he measures twice and cuts once, rarely making a mistake. He is fast but mindful of what he is doing so his time is a bargain. If you ever see him in action, and have an understanding what some of these projects he does takes, it's amazing what the man can do in 8 hours. You will not find a more fair, quality, dependable, honest and conscientious person. Plus he's a Veteran.

Josh and his assistant did a wonderful job putting our kitchen back together after a water leak. Many repairs were needed and they did it all! They always showed up early each morning to get the job done. Josh is professional, friendly and most importantly does really great work. I felt at ease that the job would be done right. Everything went well. Needed help as, while the install isn't exactly complex, I don't have all the necessary tools/accessories to install in tall garage ceiling. Rep came out to survey area for installation and determine any details, as well as provide rough estimate. Crew came out few days later and installed rack without any issue. Will be contacting for a repeat of same with another storage rack.
